[FPS]Crysis Warhead – Sequel or side story only???

Uah agak basi… tapi ini yang gw tunggu

Siapa yang ga tau Crysis? the Freaking hell game tahun 2007 yang sempet buat semua hardware crying whatever spek yang u punya. Bulan ini Crysis kedua akan dirilis pada tanggal 12 September 2008(eropa),16 September 2008(America),dan 18 September 2008(Australia). Crysis kedua ini berjudul “Warhead”. berhubung sempet baca di situs luar kalau Crysis akan menajdi Trilogy(Ugh another trilogy…  ), berarti masih ada SATU lagi sequel Crysis yang akan keluar.

In Crysis Warhead, players will don the Nanosuit of Sergeant Sykes, also known as ‘Psycho’, one of the most memorable characters from Crysis. More brash and aggressive than his Delta Force squadmate Nomad, players will experience Psycho’s parallel story during the events of the original game, finding that life on the other side of the island is even more intense and explosive than they ever could have imagined. Luckily, Psycho’s Nanosuit is just as capable and he’s equipped with an even bigger arsenal of fully customizable weapons and new vehicles, giving players access to the tools they need to dominate any situation.

Crysis Warhead is a parallel story to Crysis, one of the most critically-acclaimed first person shooters and PC games of 2007. The game is first title to be developed at Crytek’s Budapest studio, and built on a new, enhanced and optimized version of Crytek’s CryENGINE 2 technology.

Untuk masalah segi cerita gw agak kecewa, karena bukanya melanjutkan apa yang ada di orignal Crysis tetapi malah memilih untuk membuat cerita skenario side story dari si Psycho. Secara ending di Season 1 Masih sangat ngegantung. Nah Well pakah akan berlanjut atau tidak gw belum tau. Kalau memang mo dibuat side story seperti ini well I hope the third season won’t do it again… jangan ampe yang ketiga malah nyeritain si Prophet…  Yang mungkin akan berujung tetep ngegantung  di tempat yang sama .

Menurut Steven Bender(Lead Animator & Animation Manager), mengklaim bahwa Crysis kedua ini memiliki banyak perbaikan dan menjadi lebih terlihat nyata seperti facial Texture dan 3D Animation(source). Masalahnya CRYSIS sendiri sudah menjadi legenda terakhir yang memecahkan rekor game terberat tahun 2007(setelah sebelumnya FAr Cry juga sempat memecahkan rekor ini), kalau ada perbaikan dan animasi tambah keren… Mo seberapa gila spek yang dibutuhkan? 

Berdasarkan situs2 luar yang gw cari via Uncle Google, yang bersumber pada EA Store Pre order page mengatakan bahwa Crysis 2 akan memiliki spesifikasi minimum sama dengan crysis sebelumnya:

Electronic Arts has revealed the system requirements to Crysis Warhead via its online store. While the original Crysis was universally praised for its graphics, many gamers were intimidated with the first-person shooter’s system requirements. Crytek President Cevat Yerli has said that Crysis Warhead, the follow-up to the 2007 shooter, would be better optimized for a wider range of computers and should run anywhere between 30-35 frames per second at high settings on a $620 rig. While the technical specifications are nearly identical to the recommended specs of the original Crysis, three more gigs of hard drive space are required for Warhead. Gamers can test out their gaming rigs when Warhead launches on September 16.

Tapi catatan itu MINIMUM entah untuk High atau Very High akan kayak apa… Well keep waiting… mo beli aslinya bareng sama yang season 1nya
